Book Pass by Jellybooks

Introduction

Book Pass allows for easy reading and listening of ebooks and audiobooks in the browser.

There is no app to install and no filed to download.

Scan the QR code or click on the link to start reading or listening on any connected device with browser support including smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs, Macs and other devices.

Book Pass for Schools

The Book Pass service is designed to support group reading by pupils in schools, and at homes with an easy and affordable solution.

Teachers register for access, create a Book Pass for each pupil and print out a QR code that pupils stick into their reading journal. Pupils access the book by scanning the QR code. Alternatively a URL can be sent by email to pupils or parents and the book or audiobook can be accessed by clicking on the link.

Pupils do not need to register or create an account. The link and QR code is individualised to each pupil.

A Book Pass provides access to one or more ebooks and audiobooks, as selected by the school or teacher, for a specified length of time (usually a single semester of 12 to 14 weeks).

A Book Pass costs between £2 and £10 per pupil for one semester and licensed content is available from a wide range of publishers.

Boos Pass users are permitted to read of listen to books in school and at home.

Pupils may read together with their parents, guardian or siblings - up to give users may use the same QR code or link.

Free Book Passes

Book Pass is also available for free to selected schools and pupils through the National Literacy Trust and the World of Stories program.
